Answers to Common Questions

We've put together a list of common questions and their answers that we often hear from pet owners regarding our products and hemp-derived CBD.

Each pet is different, so their reaction times to CBD may vary. Usually, you should see a change within 5-10 minutes, although some take 15-30 minutes. If you don’t see a change within a half hour, give them another dose (refer to Soft Chew or Tincture dosing instructions). Remember: your pet cannot overdose, and because every animal is different, it may take a bit of tweaking to find the right amount of CBD for your specific animal.

Yes! Hemp oil is legal in all 50 states, and thanks to the 2018 Farm bill, hemp is being grown in 40 states.

CBD oil from hemp is not the same as the oil that is extracted from marijuana. The main difference between the two is that CBD oil from marijuana can contain varying amounts of THC. The hemp oil produced from industrial hemp is naturally high in CBD and contains only traces of THC which makes it safe and non-psychotropic.

CBD (Cannabidiol) is one of over 80 cannabinoid extracts from the hemp plant that is non psychoactive; meaning, it cannot produce a “high.” It is a natural, plant-based compound that is non-toxic.
